RocketRAID 3320 Performance Report |

|
It’s a Brand New HighPoint! We are releasing the highest performing SATA II IOP hardware RAID controller (RocketRAID 3320) that beats the competition. The RocketRAID 3320 is powered by our advanced TerabyteStream™ technology with superior performance in heavy I/O environments and mission critical enterprise server environments. When RAID arrays are in degraded mode, TerabyteStream™ will optimize I/O requests and continue to offer the performance needed for large storage environments.
RAID 5 and RAID 6 arrays are tested with two conditions. The first testing condition is in Normal Mode. All drives in the storage array are fully accessible. Performance results are expected to be high in Normal Mode and the RocketRAID 3320 performance results are spectacular. The second testing condition is in Degraded Mode. The storage array is faulted and 1 drive is not accessible. Lower performance is expected but the RocketRAID 3320 outshines the competitors in every category while maintaining a high level performance.
The comparison charts in the preceding pages show performance comparison against the 3ware 9650SE-8 series host adapter. |
